A whole lot about nothing really. You'll get bored I'm sure.

I've arrived

I made it. I couldn't sleep Monday night. I woke up at about 1 and couldn't get back to sleep. Around an hour before Springfield IL, I could hardly keep my eyes open, so I pulled off and took a nap. Then back on the road I went. It was a cold, windy, LONG drive. Minus the nap, it took about 13 hours to get here. Mom, I never went 80 :)
In other news, no wireless signal here for my laptop, and my cell phone is roaming. So, if you need to contact me, please use the online options, email, comments, chatting whatever.
Grandma looks great. I was worried she was going to be all 'haggered' but she looks great. Her knee looks gross though. Grandpa showed me the 5th wheel last night, I'd like to live in that thing. It is very pretty and spacious and has every comfort of home. Today the sun is shining and it's about 50, yay. Last night was the first night I slept more than 4 hours at a time, that was nice too. That's all for today.

Busy Little Bee

Busy busy. Nothing serious, more play than anything. Getting ready to drive to Oklahoma to take care of my Grandma. She had her knee replaced. One of the things that really does make me happy is to take care of other people. Plus a change in the scenery isn't so bad.
Not much is new on the love life subject. I continue to get numbers and never call them back. Do you really think they expect you to call??? I never do, and never give out my number. That is the secret to staying single. So if you happen to be thinking about it, say a prayer for a safe journey for me. :) You'll still be hearing from me.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so naturally I start thinking about things I'm thankful for. Yesterday I thought about how thankful I am for my family. My Mom and her supportive ways, my Dad and the way he taught me how to smile thru the bad things. My Stepdad for me wanting to win me over in the begining, and always wanting what is best for me. My brother and sister for insight and advice, and for maybe not always agreeing, but always supporting. This is starting to sound like an acceptance speach. Sorry, but I'm going to keep going.

My friends. There are a lot of people who changed my life. One of them I'm most thankful for is my friend Ben. Even though Ben died a year and a half ago, I still think about how he changed me and my life. Ben was one of a kind. He was funny, caring, kind, loving, and most of all, he was Ben. He thought me that being one of a kind is cool. I use to say he was the little brother I never wanted. Like a brother, I loved him alot. I miss him a lot. He was unique and loved to love. He, like me, wanted the people around him to be happy. He wanted to do things to make their lives better and more fun. He wanted people to love him and accept him. He was the male version (minus the bad jokes) of me. I learned from Ben that even though you strive to make the people around you happy, if you're not happy with yourself, you really can't make someone else happy. I wish I would have learned this lesson a different way. I went to his grave yesterday, my heart was broken. There wasn't a headstone. Ben loved us all so much he never would let us lay in a unknown grave. It breaks my heart that someone so loved, didn't mean us much to some of us as we meant to him.
I hope that everyone is thankful for every person in their live that shows them love, who wants to spend time with them, and mostly, that you cherish even the small moments.

I've been thinking alot about relationships recently. Some of the things I've been thinking about have been related to some of my mistakes and my relationships. Have also been thinking about other relationships and what seems to go wrong with them. I think the thing that annoys me the most is when people think that they can change the other person they are with. Especially the ones that get married thinking that once in the marriage the other person will have to change. To me, marriage is a big deal. Going into it, you should plan on being in love with the person who stands beside you if they change or if they don't. I use to go on and on about unrealistic expectations. Then I learned that I went the extreme and had NO expectations which I think can be worse. I don't know the answers, or even the questions. Just think that people would be alot happier if they learn to love and accept the way people are instead of hoping they'd change. Ok, I'll shut up now.

Bird Flu

I know that everyone has been worried about the bird flu. It's scary to travel and people worry about how contagious it is. Not really knowing the symptoms of it I looked online, and the good ole internet helped me out again. So, here's what I found. I hope you find it helpful.
The Center for Disease Control has released a list of symptoms of bird flu. If you experience any of the following, please seek medical treatment immediately.

1. High fever
2. Congestion
3. Nausea
4. Fatigue
5. Aching in the joints.
6 An irresistible urge to shit on someone's windshield.

ha ha ha....just so you don't panic..this isn't the real list. It's just funny.

Let it Snow

Yes, I have to admit it. I like the snow. I love how it covers the trees, and the ground. When it comes down, the world outside looks like a snow globe. It makes me feel nostolgic, and like I want to be in a Norman Rockwell painting. I just want to grab the kids in my family and get some sleds and go whipping down a hill, come in and have some hot chocolate. Yeah, I know, we barley have a ground covering worth, and it's not even sticking to the roads. I can't help looking forward to the months ahead. The cold noses, the wet shoes, the rosey pink cheeks. Yeah, winter isn't so bad.

Stability results were moderately low which suggests you are worrying, insecure, emotional, and anxious.
Orderliness results were medium which suggests you are moderately organized, hard working, and reliable while still remaining flexible, efficient, and fun.
Extraversion results were moderately high which suggests you are, at times, overly talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting at the expense of developing your own individual interests and internally based identity.

trait snapshot:
open, tough, irritable, worrying, does not like to be alone, craves attention, low self control, emotionally sensitive, interacting, sad, very social, aggressive, prefer organized to unpredictable, dependent, social chameleon, suspicious, values the heart over the mind, likes large parties, outgoing, likes to make fun, likes to fit in, mildly phobic, vain, makes friends easily, enjoys leadership, clingy, rash

Well, what do you think? Right or wrong?

Weirding Off

My Mom has a cat. That cats name is Smootchie. Something very odd happened to little Smoochie happened today. She was dead asleep and suddenly jumped up and totally freaked out. For the next hour or so, she nervously sniffned and hunkered around the house. So, here is my question, do cats dream? I think maybe she had a bad dream and it freaked her out. Mom thinks she got bit by something. Let me also mention, we were watching something scary on tv and it totally freaked us out. Maybe there is a ghost here..yeah, that's it.
