I've been blessed. Sometimes I forget about how blessed I am. It seems alot of time I focus on the things I don't have, instead of seeing the things I do.

I was the number one retail sales rep in the Nation last month at work. This is for all states, and all reps. God blessed me.

My vision is coming back a little each day. God blessed me.

My family loves and supports me and we are close. God blessed me again.

God loves me.

Blessed again.

I don't have enough swear words...

MAD..mad mad mad mad. Did I mention I was mad? Let's call her the queen..meaning my boss. I get the okay to go back to work on a limited basis, until next week when the restraint will most likley be lifted. The queen tells me that either I work 40 hours a week or they (meaning HR) would knock me down to part time and we don't have a part time staff in Muskegon. So I call HR and of course they had already talked to them..and here's the scoup:

The REAL issue was that my PTO was almost gone, and uh..the queens boss wanted to make sure I knew and understood that if I had another medical issue than that could make it possible for me to get an occurance. Now, you have to understand, normally it takes about 5 occurances to get fired, and you get time EVERY week.

Also, I happened to mention to HR that she's made me work 2 times on a doctors note and she also instructed me that I needed to find my own replacement.

I think my life is going to be hell at work, but at least I'm not getting pushed around anymore and she may (please pray) have to actually face the music for treating me like she has.

As far as my eye goes, it's about 98% healed and there is scar tissue on my pupil. The doctor has no way of knowing how my vision is going to end up. I just pray for the best.

For those of you who have said a prayer for me, thank you, God has been answering them, sometimes healing takes a little time. So, praise is in order.

Eye See

Well..I sorta see. I went to the doc again today and my ucler is now 1mm instead of 3mm, and as far as my vision goes, I can see edges where before everything was a big blur. Hopefully by Monday when I go back to the doctor, the ulcer will be gone and we will get an idea about my vision and where it's going to go.

Going back to work will be the big question. I know that if I go back with no restriction, my punishment will be working open to close and left to do all the work. I'm hoping that if they do send me back next week, I can ask for restricted hours. I think 4-6 hours a day to start.

One Eye..

Well, this was not the post I had intended. I woke up Friday morning with my right eye swollen and red. Mom took me to a med center where they said I had a corneal abrasion and gave me some drops. She also said that by the next day, Saturday, I should be feeling a lot better. On saturday, I really wasn't and still had to work with a doctors note. Sunday I woke up and my eye was completly swollen shut. Dad took me back to the med center and they discovered an ulcer on my eye and referred me to a specialist.
I just got back from the specialist and was advised that I have a very serious infection, and am off work until at least wednesday, when I go back to see (ha ha) what kind of progress has been made with the once an hour eye drops. The biggest concern is scar tissue which will cause me not to have the same vision, and my job. My boss isn't being very nice about the whole thing.
Who is being very nice to me? Dan. Dan has been awesome. He cooks for me and gives me my eyedrops, takes me anyplace I need to go, and waits for me. Runs to the pharmacy whenever I need. I'm really glad he's here to help me.
