Tired

I'm tired.

Enough Already!

I'm tired of the snow.

Someone came over and cleared out my driveway. Wasn't that nice? Was it you Dad? If so, thank you very much! If it wasn't...why didn't you come do my driveway :p

I think I'm getting sick. At work today, I started getting a sore throat. So, I came home and took a nap and it's only getting worse.

Sigh.

In other news...things are starting to come together nicely for the bride and groom party March 1st!!!!

Isn't it funny...

...how everything happens for a reason? Tonight, one of my fellow classmates asked me to have dinner with him. He's a nice guy, (and very married, don't get excited) but sorta..well, talkative. The rest of our class was going to go someplace fun, have some wings and some drinks. I chose to stay back and dine with the talker. To be honest I was kinda dreading it. I thought, what are we going to talk about, we really don't have much in common.
Well, we ended up talking about our beliefs. He's a deacon in his church, and has very strong beliefs. He wasn't the...this is the way I think so you should think that way..kinda guy. However, he did offer to find a church for me to go to in the Muskegon area that was like the one that he attends.
It was a very interesting conversation. I found myself intrigued by what he belives and the scripture that he used to back it up. One of the things I found myself thinking was that I wasn't 'on fire' anymore, and I really miss being like that. I miss that oneness, and the feeling of the spirit coming over me. It's amazing to me that I've known how I've been struggling with this, and He brings someone for me to spend an evening with talking about him.
Neat huh?

I made it!

I made it. It was the worst conditions I've ever driven thru.
After a delay (96 was shut down from a pile up) it took only an hour or so longer to get here.
So, I'm here for a week. Sigh. I'm ready for the weekend.

Home for a minute..

I'm home for the weekend. Isn't that great. I'd like to thank the following:



My Mom and dear sweet neices and Fritz too for clearing out my driveway so I could pull in. And Mom again for keeping things alive here for me.



Dad, Abby told me all the stuff you did to her while she was there. Thank you for being so nice (and for treating her like the little priceness she is) as we speak, she's sleeping on my bed waiting for me to go to sleep.

It's good to be home, even if its just for a minute.

So far...

So far, the training is ok. It's a lot of web based stuff which is sorta tedious. I guess we are supposed to get some snow tomorrow, I hope that it's gone by the weekend.

Every day from 530 - 730 there is a managers reception. It's 3 free drinks and free snacks. I haven't been doing that. Tonight I came back and ordered room service. I had some icky soup, and some HUGE chicken tenders for $20 with tip. Wasn't close to my $60 breakfast in Maui. Speaking of breakfast, it's free here. You can get whatever you want. Everything is cooked to order. Nice eh?

In other news, I miss my kitty. I wish my Dad would tell me how she's doing :(

Suite!

I arrived in Southfield a few hours ago. The drive down and over was just fine and the traffic was light. The hotel is really nice. My room is a livingroom area, bathroom and a bedroom area. Its a pretty big room. It's nice to be able to relax and watch tv on a couch (just like home) instead of having to live on the bed.

There having a big superbowl party downstairs, I might go check that out, or I might just stay in and watch movies.

I'll keep you updated thru the week. I'm really excited about the training!!!
