A whole lot about nothing really. You'll get bored I'm sure.

Another Birthday

Today is Bunny Jo's birthday. Happy Birthday Sista. I love you dearly. I hope I get to see you today and at least have a drink with you. You are a fantastic, wonderful woman. I'm lucky to have you as a sister. Even if you do rip nylons off me and push me off the toliet. :)

The New Year

The Christmas season is over, and now the thoughts of the new year are here. The past few years haven't been so good for me. I mean, they haven't been horrible, but they haven't been that great. Since I've decided to go back to school, I know that I'm going to have a few more hard years ahead of me. I do have hopes for this year. I don't make resolutions, but here is what I'd like to see happen for me in 2006:

1. Get my GED
2. Successfully complete at least on semester of college.
3. Start dating. (this sounds easy, but it's not folks)
4. Get healthier. More exercise, and better eating habits.

Sounds pretty easy right? I think these are realistic, obtainable goals. So readers, do you have any 'resolutions'?

What a great group. My Momma, Grace, Hailie and Emily. Every single person in this picture is super great, and is super important to me. My Mom, the great supporter, my best friend. Grace, my little boy crazy sweetie, well that's Hailie too, and Emily, the rockin cool chick. I love the time we get to spend together as a 'girls night' wish the twins could have joined us :) Maybe next time as long as Hailie doesn't fart.  Posted by Picasa

This is my Dad. This is where I get half of my cuteness and funny stuff from. He did teach me some very important things. He taught me how to get to the casino, how to fish, and I think he taught me the F word. Nah, I'm kidding (sorta) He did teach me though the best way to get thru the tough times. He's a good Dad, the perfect Dad for me. Posted by Picasa

These are a few of my Favorite things...

Ever get a song stuck in your head? A few of my favorite things is stuck in mine. It could be worse, it could be something like Jiggle bells or We Wish You a Merry Christmas (or happy holidays, respectivly), even worse The 12 days of Christmas. So, I started thinking about what are some of my favorite things. Be warmed, you might get bile in the back of your throat, but here is the list anyway:

Hugs
Being around my family (even when the kids fight)
The smell of the beach in the summer
Campfires
Getting cuddled
Doing something nice for someone I care about
Loving
music
Dancing

Ok, those really are my favorite things. I'm a big time dork huh? It's no wonder I can't find a decent date.

What are your favorite things??

shumma fumma

I'm half way home. I'm staying overnight in a hotel. I thought, great, this place has a pool. Well, the water is about 60, and the air temps is about the same. Before I left, I panicked because I didn't bring my suit, so I had to run out and buy on. In December folks, not an easy task. I did find one, a new one for a good price. BUT THE POOL IS TOO COLD TO ENJOY IT!!!
Only about 6 or 7 more hours to go...then I'm home sweet home.

Rhema Bible College and other news

Tonight we went to Rhema Bible College. This is is a college that every year they really put the lights out. I read that they have over 2 million lights. It really is quite something to see. The driveway is tree lined. Each tree trunk was loaded in lights. They had a variety of different animated decorations. There were some very pretty things, and some really neat things. There is a little park area that you can walk thru. It was really neat. There was a bridge with an canopy of lights. There were kids singing christmas carols. It really made me wish I had someone special to share it with. Well, I had my Grandpa and our friend Van, but I meant like a boyfriend or my husband. I tried to take pictures, but there were so many lights, I couldn't get a clear picture. That happened in Vegas too.

Richard Pryor died today. I think it's sad. He really was something else. His movie Toy was the first one I remember watching over and over again. I'm betting he lived a pretty good life and kept the smile on his face. My thoughts are with his family.

When I get back to Michigan, game on. I'm really going to start looking to end my doom of singledom. I know I keep saying it..but it's true.

Let it Snow II

Ok, I'm excited. I'm in Tulsa and it's snowing. I like the first snow, it's pretty. There isn't much out there, just a little bit. I like to look out the out the window and see it coming down. I know, I'm a dork. I know that in Michigan there is more snow than you want. I like it it small doses and it always makes me smile. It'd be better if I had someone I could cuddle in front of a fireplace with, and someone to keep me warm. Someone to help put up the Christmas tree and the lights, but mainly someone to buy me lots of Christmas presents :)

Yeeehawww

Went to a bonafide country bar last night. Folks, this is no Dinos. This place had actual cowboys. The song, save a horse ride a cowboy? Can totally understand that song now. The only dances that were done were line dances, and two step type dances. They did like a casper slide and I did that. It's a bit different here, but the basic steps are the same. I really enjoyed watching everyone dance. I've really never seen anything like it. I have led a sheltered life. Going to my favorite place to eat tonight. It's outside of Tulsa and they have the BEST blooming onion EVER. It 10 times better than Outback. Yummy.
