A whole lot about nothing really. You'll get bored I'm sure.

My bad

I really don't have anything to blog about, and so I was looking at my pictures and thought you might like to see a pic of The Big V (formally known as chilldaddy) at Hailies birthday party a few years ago.

Seriously?

I can't sleep. When that happens I find myself surfing the net reading up on different things. I came across this article, http://www.redtape.msnbc.com/

Basically, it says that there is a company who is developing a plan to give consumers a medical credit score. The score will be based on their ability to pay.

I have MAJOR problems with this. Let me tell you just a few of the obvious.

1. Medical insurance companies are really good at messing up bills. Not paying them on time, billing the wrong insurance, denying based on diagnosis. I've had numerous bills go into collection for the insurance companies mistakes. In fact, right now, I'm being sued because the hospital billed the wrong insurance company. And guess what? Once it goes to collections, it's to late to try to correct it. Oh, I did call when it was denied and they said they were going to put it back thru, but they didn't...they sent it to collections instead.

2. They say that this isn't going to effect treatment. Just like if you don't have insurance it isn't supposed to effect your treatment, but guess what, it does. It always does, and always will.

3. There are some people because they are SICK or HURT that require long term medical assistance. Now, don't you think this would effect their income? If it effects their income, it will effect their score, and then..ultimately, their care.

Ok, that's all I'm going to rant about for the moment, because this finally tired me out. I do have more reasons...but you can chew on those for awhile...

I'm moving to Canada..oh wait, I don't want to go there, they have the US on the list that abuses POW's.

Sigh.

For Bunny Jo

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.

When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

Kind woman, I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more.

Little drops of rain whisper of the pain, tears of loves lost in the days gone by.

My love is strong, with you there is no wrong, together we shall go until we die.

My, my, my. An inspiration is what you are to me, inspiration, look... see.

And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles,

Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one.

Happiness, no more be sad, happiness..I'm glad.

If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you.

When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

I gotta tell ya bunny - there isn't a more perfect song for your wedding. I'm getting very excited about your big day. It's not all about the party..it's about you having the life you finally deserve.

That my dear family and friends is the whole reason to celebrate!

Amazing Love

As you know in my line of work, I see and hear a lot of interesting things. Yesterday however, I heard something that touched my heart. There was an older lady who came in and was talking to the customer I was working with. Apparently her husband just died a few days prior. She said, "The lord took my husband home, but I still praise him for his wisdom and glory."
It floored me. The other lady asked how long they had been together, and it was going to be 50 years in a few months. It amazed me that this woman lost her mate of 50 years, yet still loved and trusted God enough to praise him.
I thought about the things I pray for in my life. The stupid petty things I complain about. Yet this woman, who during hardship, finds it in herself to praise God. I ended up giving her ONE penny to pay her bill, and she thanked me for blessing her.
I think it was the other way around.
