No News

Things are just going along, day to day. I'm still really sad about losing my Grandma. I know that she's in a better place, but it doesn't make it any easier. I won't go on and on like I want to.

After I got my kitty home she seemed very happy to see me. She still licks my eyelids and her newest thing is wanting to cuddle just before I have to get up and go to work. The little shit. She is a little sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day.

My Grandma

She would greet you with a big smile, usually a laugh and with open arms. Her blue eyes would sparkle and her face would light up. Her love and joy would surround you. She was an amazing, special person who can never be duplicated. She gave birth to 5 special, unique people who in turn gave birth to other equally wonderful people, and they gave birth..and this will go on and on. Inside each and every person who loved her, the legacy of laughter, love, music and family lives on.

Goodbye my loving Grandma, thank you for every little prayer you said for me, and for the unconditional love you gave me, and mostly for the smiles and jokes that we shared. I will miss you and love you and I can't wait to see you again.

Abby or Lily?

This is my baby. She doesn't quite seem to fit the name Abby, although I really like it. She's a little love, and a little shit. She is a typical cat who wants to do what she wants to do when she wants to do it. The brat. Last night, she was using my face as a trampoline then meowing to wake me up. So, I had to kick my little darlin out of my bedroom. It didn't seem to bother her though, when I woke up this morning, she was sleeping behind the toliet. I think there might have been some empty beer bottles around her. It was thursday, my old going out night.
Yep..she's my girl. 

A little baby

I got a little baby. She's little and gray and white. My camera is at work so I don't have any pictures to put on my blog. YET. However, the little baby no name had her picture taken by her grandma today. So check purplepatch to see pics and the naming contest.
