A whole lot about nothing really. You'll get bored I'm sure.

Good News

I have been hired at Lake Express. I start on Monday at 8:30 AM, and then will be going over to Milwaukee to begin my traning. We are not taking the ferry over, that was kinda disappointing.

I'm not sure what hours my shift will be, but anything is better than nothing. I'm very pleased to be working again, and getting 'out' there again.

I'm very happy about this choice. It was a very easy process, and I'm happy that this will give me the option to go to school too.

YAY!

Great news, Jamie! How are you getting to Milwaukee if you aren't taking the ferry? Seems stupid if you ask me. BUT - what a fun job to have! I hope you really enjoy it. Are they paying you well?

UPDATE: Guess who just called and offered me a job?

I feel good about working for Lake Express. What is the saying, if it is from God, it's easy? or something like that. This was to easy.

I hope you took the opportunity to explain to Cellular One that while you don't mind jumping through hoops in the interview process, their dragging their feet cost them a fantastic employee? Course they don't need to know that you were *smart* and took the Lake Express job because it will be A. Fun and B. allow you to to go school.

And you'd better go to school or your big sis is going to beat you up!

it pays the avg for a customer service job. I will be taking a bus to Milwaukee. I will not be on the boat, my position will at the Muskegon terminal mostly greeting and helping customers with their reservations and answering the phone, with lots of customer interaction :)

Anything else?

And thatnks all for the congrats.

I'm still going to be a coffee girl, I'll do both. Lake Express will be just a bit short of 40 hours a week, and Tammy could use a little more time off. Also, I'll be a coffee girl in the winer, which will be great homework time :) I will also be able to qualify for some unemployment.
I'm really, really, really happy for me to. :)

Do you realize that our girl will be serving up our favorite coffee and will be there to meet and greet any of us who take the ferry...gosh, it's almost like we have friends in high places!

(This is Ray, not Cindy)

What do you get when you cross a coffee-girl with a ferry customer service chick?

A coffee fairy.

Grandma, you'll still see me. I won't be on the ferry, I'll be at the terminal in Muskegon full time. So I'll work normal hours plus have 2 days off a week.
You'll be able to see me all the time :)
