A whole lot about nothing really. You'll get bored I'm sure.

Family Camping Trips?

Some of my favorite memories being a kid was going up to Pentwater and camping, or going out to Pioneer park. I'd really like everyone to think about getting together this summer for a long weekend to take a little trip. Here is what I was thinking.

Check it out. I've been there and didn't get to spend much time up there, and Mom has never been across the bridge. I also think it'd be great to take our spoiled children away from technology for a few days and let them sit around a campfire and hear us tell stories of our younger days and to learn songs played by Unky Ray and Grandma.

P.S. I'd love to show pics of the wedding, but I don't have any to share. It was the bomb and it was blessed from begining to end!

Just an FYI I checked out the site and there happen to be 4 sites right next to the bathrooms (i'm thinking young children and fritz) on July 18th for 3 nights.

I have pictures of the wedding...I have edited 35 and have about 40 to go! So mine might take a couple more days...getting my eyes dilated tomorrow so can't work on them until late, darn it all! I got some great pictures, but want you all to see them in order. Yes, it was the most wonderful day in many many years, and I can't wait to present what I have! OH, yes, we would probably love to go, but as Fritz always says, it depends on time and timing. (Money). LOL

We'd love to go, too. How much are the sites and do they have any RV sites available (we have a camper) and how much are they? I'm blogging from work (bad me), so I don't want to do too much surfing so if you don't mind checking for me.....

Well, I have over 150 pictures of the wedding and most of them are awesome. I got quite a few pictures of the dancing which are a lot of fun to look at. However, it'll be a week or so until the computer gets looked at, so I won't be able to blog or post until then. :( Everyone will just have to wait, I guess.

The reg. sites are around $20, and they do have RV sites. There are a lot of sites even by the river.

It'd be alot of fun!!

Jamie and I talked about possibly camping at the Back Forty at Double J Ranch as it is closer (less gas money for many of us and hopefully more affordable and doable for all of us). The advantage of Double J is that it is close, has pool and water slides, a rodeo and BBQ every Friday night, horseback riding, a cool petting zoo (hey, I loved it, ok?) a high-noon saloon shoot-out everyday and other activities for kids and adults. It would be a *swell* time! They have RV sites and regular camp sites, too. I know Chris and I would be willing to help pitch in some moolah for those that might not be able to afford the trip. Come on, watcha say! ;)
