A whole lot about nothing really. You'll get bored I'm sure.

Mothers Day

My Mom. She rocks. She's my supporter, my shrink and mostly my friend. My Mom is the Mom who makes me something and says a prayer with each stitch. The Mom who makes you soup when you're sick. The person I call when I feel like no one understands me. The Mom who makes sure I get home safe. Who makes every holiday and birthday special. Thank you Mom for all you do for me, and all of the other people you make feel special with your loving ways.

Remember your Mom today, and all the little things she does to show you how much you're loved.

Who IS this woman you are describing? You must have felt tres, tres sentimental at the time. Here are my most vivid memories of our mom (and they have nothing to do with soup and stitches)
1. Playing baseball with us down at the marina. I'd usually bail to read a book. C'est moi.
2. Playing the ukelele and singing "Little Brown Jug." Also that song her dad made up - that was a good one (instrumentalism helps).
3. Letting us bang pots and pans, screaming like banshees on Ferry Street every New Years. Oh, we WERE cool!
4. Letting all my fourth-grade friends play the "get dressed" game with all our dirty clothes. They thought my mom was soooo cool. They were like, "Wow...your mom plays guitar!"
5. Hotdogs, chili, hamburgers and then on Sunday...Banquet Fried Chicken. Need I say more? Mmmm :)
6. Pretending she didn't know I was drunk the time I lit that piece of paper on fire in the middle of a "be cool" conversation asking to stay out longer on a Friday with boyfriend and crew. Or the time Ray came home smelling like grape gum and knocked the picture off the wall. Or the time I puked beer and pizza on the bathroom floor and fell down in it. Yeah, she reeeeeelly believed it was one sip of beer!

Jamie, thank you for remembering the good stuff, I am so glad you are grown up and we can be friends. Thank you for orchestrating the breakfast in bed and the afternoon with the rest of the family....you are going to be the shaker and the mover of your generation, I can see that and glad that someone will carry on.

Yeah Mom's rock, I owe my mom a nice dinner out this weekend. She has helped me tremendously. Um, I have some more comments about something but I will just email you about that babe.

So, blogging queen, where ya at? And how come you haven't fixed your comments yet like I advised? You must be too busy throwing sex toy parties, decorating your new pad and shopping for hottie gear to be utilized during your Las Vegas trip. I'm jealous. Bitches!
